Tree Service Seeks Land to Store Equipment and Wood

Matt Banchero, the Tree Hugging Tree Cutter, sent me this today. Please contact him if you're interested!
__

I run a tree service specializing in large hazardous tree removals, cutting fuel breaks as well as fine tree pruning.  I am an owner/operator/entrepreneur and a
licensed contractor carrying GLI and workmans comp.  I am seeking a piece of flat/dry land near Sebastopol or Santa Rosa, Ca.  I would like to expand my business to include managing the groves and rows of Eucalyptus in Sonoma County and producing firewood and I need space to expand.

Ideally the space would be and acre or larger.  I need to store a dump truck, chipper, trailer, skid steer, a storage container and several hundred cord of firewood, logs and chips.

My hope is that there is a farmer out there who wants to have a long row of eucalyptus trees taken down near their house and they have been given bids of tens of thousands of dollars by other tree services. They have a flat piece of dry land with good truck access and a fairly central location. They want some young energy and entrepreneurial spirit to thrive on their land.

Although my primary focus is on tree work and firewood I have a longer term goal of expanding into compost, biochar production andworm castings from dairy and horse manure.

A secondary interest would be in finding a location with an in law unit for rent or work trade.

  1. Well this is a very noble cause, i remember my college professor that staged a rally for the same cause and he rented out some skip bins to help move all of the seedlings. It was very successful and we have 40 trees scattered all over the county.
