Established Organic Farm seeks dedicated individual to manage operation in Santa Cruz County, California.
This is a FULL TIME, YEAR ROUND POSITION.
The job REQUIREMENTS are:
-willing to work seasonal long hours when needed with flexibility
-ability to communicate well in English & in Spanish
-must have leadership & good communication skills
-must have valid driver's license
-must be physically fit & able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
-must have impeccable attention to detail
-must have no scheduling conflicts
Desirable qualifications are:
-experience with farm machinery
-experience with irrigation--drip & sprinkler
-experience driving trucks & towing
-mechanical ability in shop repair
-welding experience
-fluency in Spanish & English
Starting/training pay for this position is $12/hour plus one week's paid vacation per year. Pay has room to grow with experience and responsibilities.
