Homestead Skillshare Festival at Hayes Valley Farm in San Francisco This Saturday, May 26th


Celebrate Memorial Day weekend with the Homestead Skillshare Festival, where there will be over 40 sustainable and self-sufficient living workshops and four live bands at the magical gardens of Hayes Valley Farm.  Admission is sliding scale or through the Timebank with hours.

A festival to help educate, inspire and spread sustainable living and self-sufficiency skills. 
 
Scheduled Workshops:
Cohousing, solar ovens and cob ovens, worm bins, cob ovens, urban composting, worm composting, urban gardening in the Bay and container gardening, soil fertility, seed-saving, food preservation (incl. wine-making, pickling), water catchment, disaster preparedness, herb growing, teas and tincture making, qi gong, cheese making, bee-keeping and pollination, livestock (incl. live ducks, chickens), sprouting, insects as food, mushroom cultivation, soap-making, candle-making, diy green cleaning, activist communication skills, and more! Admission: Ticketing  on Eventbrite and at the door Payment of 2 hours donation to Hayes Valley Farm and/or
$20 sliding scale donation to the BACE Timebank. Kids are free, families welcome. Rain or shine. No refunds.
